People at risk-elderly, infants, kids, smokers, persons w heart /lung disease.Symptoms include fever chest discomfort, yellow green mucus, wheezing, shortness of breath, etc.Sputum samples may be taken to ck for signs of inflammation or bacterial infection, hence antibiotics.If viral cause, infection will generally go away within one week.
