Yes, you can lose weight with a vegan and gluten-free eating plan.
But -- this doesn't mean eating a bunch of "gluten free" junky snacks! you still need to eliminate added sugars, artificial sweeteners, and processed foods. Eat veggies, lean proteins, healthy fats (olive oils, avocados, omega-3's like wild alaskan salmon, etc), and complex carbs. Fruits like raspberries, blueberries too.
