In brief: No fever
Fever is either a temperature of 100 or a temperature which does not get as low as 98.
6 in 24 hours. It sound as if he has a mild cold or an allergy and unless things get worse would keep him away from doctors and hospitals.

In brief: How does he act?
Cough associated with a runny nose is very common in children.
The temperatures you are reporting are actually normal. Pediatricians usually define a fever as a rectal temperature above 100.4. As such, it is more important how he is acting. If he is crying, having a hard time eating, having trouble breathing , etc. Then he needs to see his doctor. Otherwise usually lasts 4-6 days.
