Normal. Normal to have pain after wisdom tooth extraction. Follow the post op instructions, take your pain meds. If the pain is not improving or increasing 3-5 days after surgery, you probably have a dry socket. See the surgeon who can relieve your pain.
Tooth pain. If your adjacent teeth hurt following the extraction, they may have been inflamed by the procedure, or the pain may be radiating down one of the alveolar nerves. Best bet is to call the surgeon who extracted the tooth.
