Someone told me to use baking soda and lemon to get whiter teeth. Is this accurate?

In brief: Oh my gosh!!!

When baking soda is used straight - it acts as an abrasive and can wear down enamel on your teeth.
Lemons contain citric acid which can eat away at teeth. Would not recommend doing this.

In brief: Sand + Acid

Baking soda is abrasive (like sand), and lemons are very acidic, the very thing that dissolves enamel.
Neither have whitening properties.. They may remove superficial stains.
