In brief: Jaw pain

You have not provided enough information: where exactly is the jaw pain, what makes it hurt (hot, cold, biting/chewing), did you do anything to cause it to hurt in the first place, is there any swelling? When was the last time you had a dental examination?See a dentist for a clinical and visual examination and diagnosis.

Anterior bite plate (deprogrammer) often helps. These devices need to be followed by a dentist trained to treat TMJ syndrome as continuous wear can cause problems and an internal derangement must be ruled out before beginning wear. See your dentist for treatment or referral.
