100 calories intake per day more than you expend = 1 pound per month weight gain. Likewise 100 calories less per day = 1 pound per month weight loss. That is 12 pounds per year, 24 pounds in 2 years, 36 pounds in 3 years, etc. So eat less, exercise more and if it tastes good, spit it out.
