In brief: No

Paget's disease is a disorder of abnormal bone remodeling.
We all lose and build none everyday. In paget's, there's more building than losing, but in an abnormal structure, which makes the bone unstable and prone to breaking. There is often a lot of blood flow to the areas involved and so it can be red and hot.

In brief: No, a bone disease.

This is a disease of bone also known as osseitis deformans.
There is increased bone formation and destruction, and even increased bone mass, but the bone is not structurally stable. It starts to be seen in mid adulthood, and progresses. Patients may be asymptomatic. There is evidence that it is caused by a paramyxovirus that produces a slow virus infection with inflammation. Sarcomas 5-10%.

In brief: No it is not cancer

Paget's disease of the bone is a chronic disorder that causes bones to grow larger and weaker than normal.
This may cause the bones to break easily. It is characterized by excessive bone loss and rapid bone repair. The etiology of the paget's disease is unknown, but most believe it is due to virus.
