In brief: Chelation therapy

No chelation therapy doesnot reverse atherosclerosis, chelation is supposed to bind toxins for elimination through the kidneys.
Atherosclerosis is integrated into the arteries in a matrix of calcium, cholesterol, platelets, fibrinogen and other substances. If chelation freed the plaques they would clog the kidneys and shut down normal filtration causing kidney failure, emboli or strokes.

In brief: Yes

It has been used successfully for over 30 years to treat angina pectoris and claudication.
However it does not remove plaque. It resolves symptoms and helps the body do its own repairs. In addition to chelation one must address diet exercise stress reduction and fix inflammatory problems to get arterial heath.
