In brief: Use as directed

Fluoride is a naturally occurring element.
If it was unsafe people couldn't live in places like colorado, new mexico, wyoming, etc. Oxygen is harmful if improperly used, helpful if properly used. Ask the expert, your dentist, to advise you as to proper Fluoride balance for you. Stop reading the non-scientific scare articles and have you dentist titrate your utilization.

The chemicals use in most fluoridation programs are either hexaflourosilicic acid or its sodium salt, and those silicon fluorides do not occur in nature. Arsenic, like fluoride, leaches naturally from rocks into groundwater. Science should support your position.

In brief: Not very..

There has been never any scientifically proven danger of Flouride in your toothpaste, as long as it is ALWAYS rinsed out and never swallowed!

In brief: Fluoride = poison!!

For most, there isn't a problem using a toothpaste with fluoride.
You brush with it and rinse it out. But when children swallow it, if can be a highly toxic poison. Have you noticed the warnings on the labels? At one time tooth paste looked like soft served ice cream dispensed on a toothbrush. Now the recommendation for children are "pea size". Soon it be just a tiny, thin "smear!" use caution!
