You should try to change your position at least once an hour. That means getting up from the chair to stretch for a minute or two.
If you get a break during the day, try taking a short walk. Make sure that your seat gives you good lumbar support and avoid tendency to slouch which is something we all do when we get tired. Sitting all day is not the best thing for our spines so we need be aware.
