Fluid, fiber, etc. Fluid intake, fruits, veggies, whole grains, flax seed (not the oil), beans and legumes, oils, activity all help to move things through. Non prescription rx can include sugarless gum (sorbitol- can cause gas), stool softeners, magnesium (careful if any kidney problems), mineral oil, polyethylene glycol (miralax)if not promptly relieved, recurrent, associated with other symptoms, etc, see md.
Prunes. Prunes or prune juice. High fiber foods usually help as well.
