In brief: FEVER

At this age common cause is viral; associated symptoms: runny nose, cough, malaise, refusal to eat, some headache, body ache, etc.
If these are not there, look for any burning urine (possible uti). Too much headache, vomiting or any worsening- will need immediate medical attention. Make sure she drinks enough fluid, give acetaminophen/tylenol 160 mg every four hour for fever 101 or above.
