A completely healthy 93 year old will not sleep that much, but few of us are lucky enough to be completely health at this age.
Usually, there are multiple factors--principally various circulation problems and also a lack of regular exercise so the individual gets weaker and fatigues more easily. But if the person feels well and enjoys life while she is awake, there is no need to worry.
