Ask your pcp for some anxiety rating scales, or get some online; eg, beck anxiety inventory, sheehan anxiety scale, etc. Then check out how you feel on days with the adderall, (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) and on the days that you don't take it & check your blood pressure and heart rate 2-3x each day after sitting quietly x 5 minutes. May need new doc. Sounds like more is going on here that you could write about in space provided. Not sure when test was done, but should have shown stimulant; assume she was worried you were no using it but giving it away or selling it. Talk to her about what her concerns are and whether you can try something other than a stimulant that can help you and relieve her worries. Read more...
