Will I have to wear a huge neck/back brace due to scoliosis?

In brief: No

If you are really 35 years old, wearing a brace would have no effect.
Braces are normally used for adolescents and children with progressive curves in an effort to slow the curves progression.

In brief: No

Bracing is only used when a scoliosis patient is not full grown.
Once you are mature the scoliosis curve will stay the same but it can slowly progress if the curve was greater than 40 degrees.
