Hello docs. I was wondering can tinea versicolor come durimg an acute HIV infection?

Yes, but... Acute HIV can be asymptomatic or the worst 'flu you ever had, or anything in between. If tinea versicolor flares and you have no other symptoms or signs of acute HIV infection, don't give it another thought. It's extremely common. If you did do something risky, and you're obsessing about this, get with your physician for a nucleic acid blood test. Good luck.
