Only one high blood sugar following a glucose test during pregnancy. What does that mean?

In brief: Depends

If you did the one-hour test, it means you need to do the definitive 3 hour test.
If it was one elevation on the 3 hour test, then you are not a gestational diabetic (unless your one was a really elevated fasting glucose). It is a good idea to watch your diet and carbs if you had one elevation tho.

In brief: Talk to your Ob/Gyn

Depends on the timing of your glucose elevation post oggt.
Recently there has been more focus on having tight control of mother's glucose during pregnancy to prevent fetal complications such as large size (macrosomia). Some ob/gyn will proceed with a 3hr ogtt if the "mini" 1 hr ogtt is abnormal (i.E >130). Good luck.
