In brief: It isn't uncommon.

Many women experience exhaustion after being pregnant ; going through labor.
The pressure of having a little person to be responsible for 24/7, late night feeding and possibly baby blues can also contribute.

In brief: Pressure

Yes, it is normal for your wife to have a lower sex drive right now.
There is so much happening emotionally and physically with her. There is a lot happening emotionally and to a lesser degree physically with you as well. It's important that you and your wife find ways to communicate without expectations or pressure. Best wishes to all 3 of you!

In brief: Normal, yes

Your wife has gone through an intense process of giving birth, from which it takes a few months to recover. In addition, she may be nursing, and is sleep deprived, which is exhausting.
Sex is most likely the last thing on her mind right now. She is focused on your child, getting some sleep, and an occasional shower. Do your best to help take care of your child, and let her rest for a while.
