Has the fertility (shots) made anyone else crazy?

In brief: You are not alone

"fertility shots" contain hormones that stimulate your ovaries to produce a group of follicles (each containing an egg), instead of the one follicle that normally develops in a natural cycle.
Each of the follicles makes estrogen and, consequently, your estrogen level will rise well beyond the normal range. In many women, those high estrogen levels cause changes in mood and emotions.

In brief: Sometimes

The medication for infertility treatment shouldn't make "you" crazy.
It does help increase the hormones estrogen and Progesterone that can cause some mild mood changes and breast fullness. I would be more concerned about the stress that the treatment is inducing and as i generally do, i would encourage a visit with our therapist to assess for any underlying depression-thyroid abnormalities.
