Going in this week for a bronchoscopy with biopsy. Does this sound bad for prognosis?

In brief: No
Bronchoscopy is one of the main procedures performed to obtain tissue or fluid to help with diagnosis.
Other procedures include ct guided biopsy as well as close radiologic follow up of ct or cxr abnormalities. The fact that you are undergoing bronchoscopy does not in itself suggest anything other than a need to obtain tissue to help your doctor with the diagnosis.

...Is used for many things.
There is no way to meaningfully answer this question with the information you provided. Prognosis for any lung disease depends on many more factors than just how it is diagnosed (for example using a bronchoscope). The best way to answer the particular question you have is to ask your doctor, not some stranger on the internet.
