Punching pain in my hip joints as I walk. What could that be and how to cure it?

Arthritis. Hip joint pain is usually located on the front of the hips and into the groin. At 51 years of age, hip osteoarthritis is a possibility. Labral/cartilage tears with/without femoroacetabular impingement (fai) is another possibility. Tendonitis/bursitis more commonly causes pain on the outside of the hips. An evaluation with an orthopedic physician and x-rays should shed light on your situation.
