In brief: Not sure I would
Go that far, but there is a genetic component to addiction.
If you do not have that genetic component, you may be less likley to develop nicotine addiction. But why test the theory. Just don't start.

In brief: Unknown
I have seen no studies on this issue.
Retrospective studies of smokers show that the magic lifetime number of cigarettes that will result in a high likelihood of continued tobacco addiction is only seven cigarettes. That would appear to argue against any kind of "natural immunity." there certainly are personality traits that are associated with a lower rate of all forms of addiction.
