In brief: Depends
If full cardiac recovery p-arrest pt is likely to be taken to cath and possible cabg.
The total time confined may be 7 t 10 days. If cath or bypass not planned the pt may be discharged in 3 yo 4 days.

There is a range from 3 days to 3 weeks. Uncomplicated MI can be treated with ASA, betablockade and other meds. Cardiogenic shock may require more interventions such as intraaortic balloon pump, cardiac surgery and a long recovery period.
