It depends on cause of ur bronchiectasis.
Some of the causes r genetic, cystic fibrosis, cilia motility problem, primary immune deficiencies, etc. If u have those, ur kids may have higher chance of developing bronchiectasis if they develop those dis. If u developed bronchiectasis because of recurrent lung infections without immune deficiency, or a rare condition, abpa, it is usually not genetic.
