Had neurogenic bladder due to cauda equina syndrome. Is there any chance that botox can help reduce urinary retention, urgency problem? Should I try it?

Talk to urologist. Assuming you have an atonic bladder causing problems with initiation of urine, or overflow, Botox would have no value and might even cause worsening. If you suffered urgency incontinence, might be useful. Urodynamic testing can determine the precise bladder dysfnctn and guide therapeutic intervention.
Give it a try. Botox can relieve symptoms of neurogenic bladder, particularly spasms, retention or urgency. It needs to be administered by someone with experience or it can worsen issues. Good luck!
