What are some treatments for shoulder bursitis with a bone spur?

Several. Sounds like you have impingement syndrome where your rot. Cuff gets " pinched"underneath the point ( acromion)of your shoulder w/ arm elevation. Treatment can begin w/ nsaids , rot. Cuff strengthening exersises; steroid injection(s) into the bursal space can be helpful. If pain continues then arthroscopic " decompression"( remove bone spurs and inflamed bursa) is usually reccomended. Good luck!
