In brief: Benadryl/Maalox

Mix equal parts of liquid Benadryl and maalox.
Then take a q-tip and paint the mixture on to the sore areas. You can also give oral tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for pain relief. You don't mention age, but if old enough (like past 8 months) can let her lick on a popsicle for relief. Do not use any products containing aspirin. And people out there - ge your varicella vaccine on time so babies dont catch it!

In brief: Oh dear

You might try a local anesthetic from the drug store that is marketed for teething.
That may give some relief.
