In brief: Brain metabolism?

I'm not sure what you mean by "brain metabolism problem, " since so many metabolic reactions are going on in your brain at the same time.
Piracetam is a derivative of GABA http://tinyurl.Com/b456rj3 and Klonopin (clonazepam) enhances GABA receptor activity too. You could end up more drowsy ; sedated. Some people have paradoxical agitated responses to benzodiazepines. Niacin will not help/affect any of this.
