I have new rapid heart rate and difficulty breathing. Should I go to the e.R.?

Maybe... If you are young and prone to panic attacks, this could be from that, especially if this happens when you are sitting there doing nothing and not having much chest pain etc.. But if u are older, say >40 and never had this before, then yes, call ems--don't drive yourself...Seemingly dangerous if u can't even breath. I hope this is just a panic attack..Better than heart attack. Good luck...
