How do u know u have optic neuritis? My right eye vision has been blurry for almost a year now. Is the a permanent symptom now associated with the ms?

In brief: OPTIC NERVE

Presume you had optic neuritis and likely did not fully recover so far. There may be some component of optic atrophy but unlikely to have persistent inflammation over optic nerve at this point, especially now that you are on tysabri (natalizumab).
Do have your vision checked and make sure you do not have pars planitis, retinal detachment, vitreous detachment, or glaucoma.

In brief: Diagnosis is made

By pupillary exam color vision test dilated view of optic nerve and possibly imaging with contrast to look for active inflammation.
See an ophthalmologist or preferably a neuro-ophthalmologist best regards.
