In brief: Pelvic muscles
Injury to the adductor or obturator internus muscles of the pelvis can cause referred pain into the pelvic region.

Iliacus/iliopsoas as well as pectineus are also notorious culprits. I'd recommend finding a D.O. who specializes in a form of manipulation called Strain/Counterstrain and Muscle Energy. The combination often works wonders for "odd" pelvic strain patterns.

In brief: Many
Many muscles in pelvis.
I would suggest starting with a visit to your gyno.
