Should I get a mammogram at 35? My gyno did a breast exam, but I was wondering if I should get a mammo too? Nothing was found & no fam history.

If you are. not at high risk, the American Cancer Society, American College of Radiology, and others recommend beginning annual screening at age 40.
Bit Early. Without a family history or worrisome findings on physical exam you would be a little young for your first mammo. Regular self examinations on your part every month after your periods end would allow you to become more familiar with your breasts and to better recognize any changes, often even before your gyn. Routine mammos usually start at 40.
