This does not sound like a sexually transmitted problem if you are not sexually active, in the absence of information on your past sexual activity, it is much more likely to be a simple infection, either of the hair follicles or the skin glands around the vulva and vagina.
This is a not uncommon problem and is easily cleared up but i would suggest you see your doctor for a check up.
