Sprained ankle 10mnths ago, still pain on weightbearing, but no instability. Mri (5mnths back)said 2 torn ligaments. Did extensive pt exs, bracing. Stil pain?

Have it evaluated. Pain may last a long time following a foot or ankle injury. An x-ray can show if there is an underlying fracture. You may have a soft tissue injury if it is just a sprain and may have damaged the muscle, tendon, or ligaments in the area. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment. If the pain has not improved with conservative measures surgery may be a good option.
See ORS. Pain long after a signifigant ankle sprain w/o instability could be: a concomitant talar dome chondral injury( which could have easily been missed on mri) or impingement syndrome of the ankle.Occassionally the sub talar joint can cause pain as well.Peroneal tendon subluxation / pain is also easily missed. See your board certified ors for evaluation. Good luck!
I. Would consider surgery at this point especially with 2 confirmed rupture by mri.
