In brief: Cold milk, aspirin
Cold milk compresses 5 minutes per hour will remove heat from skin.
Then aloe vera, or combined with hydprcprtisone will allow skin to repair. Aspirn will have antiinflammatory effect if necessary.Use proper sunscreen from now on.

In brief: Black tea
Here's something i learned from a patient: make a pitcher of very black tea.
Let the tea cool to luke warm. Using a rag (so you don't stain a nice towel), dab the tea onto your sunburn. Don't wash it off. Add more "coats" of tea if it feels good to do so. Let the tea dry on your face, and leave it overnight. Wash it off in the morning. Voila. Much better.
