Does an injection on the lower canine hurt more than one on a back molar? I have cavity on canine and molar beside it and I'm terrified. Please help!

no it shouldn't. Your dentist would apply a topical gel and than the shot is given..The canine and the molar region both area gums should feel numb after the topical gel applied..May sting for few seconds..And than you dont feel anything...Dont worry the process is not painful its more the look of the syringe ..Can let your dentist know you are really anxious about the proceedure so they can do there best to help.
dental fear. What you should be afraid of is the cavity and not its treatment a caring dentist can suggest ways of dealing with your terror so you can get the teeth treated before it turns into something worse.
