Since alcohol is a volatile liquid cannit be vaporized and inhaled like volatile anesthetics?

In brief: Nebulized

Alcohol has been administered in a nebulized form (very small droplets) and inhaled.
I believe it was popular in some nightclubs a few years ago so patrons could become intoxicated and avoid the calories associated with ingestion. Overdose is much more likely as absorption is very rapid and doseage is difficult to judge. The volatility of ethanol is far below that of the inhalational anesthetics.
