I like to drink alone, am I addicted?

Possibly . Drinking to alter how you are feeling, to relieve boredom, loneliness are risk factors for an alcohol disorder. Drinking more than 14 drinks for men, or 7 per week for women is at risk drinking and may indicate an alcohol disorder. One glass of wine at dinner not a problem. Ask yourself, why are you drinking alone, if it's to make a negative feeling better, talk to your doctor.
Alcohol Abuse. You are not necessarily addicted but if you are drinking alone there is probably a reason. Confide in someone close to you as to what is happening in your life may be disturbing you. Also be honest about how much your drinking and for what purpose. If you are questioning your alcohol use attennd an aa meeting as people are very helpful and supportive in that program. Best wishes.
