In brief: Possible

There are many causes of why a women can have irregular menses.
If your irregularity is defined by infrequent menstruations (i.E oligomenrrhea) with skipped cycles, then you likely have a problem with ovulation (i.E conceiving) and release of progesterone, the hormone that will promote uterine tissue shedding if the ovum (or egg) is not being fertilized within a certain time period.

In brief: Yes but get help ...

First we find out why you have irregular cycles: polycystic ovarian sydrome (pcos), underactive thyroid, excess prolactin hormone, aging of the ovary (diminished ovarian reserve), or low hormone levels (hypogonadism) from exercise, eating disorders, stress.
Not ovulating regularly decreases your fertility. See a reproductive endocrinologist for tests / treatment to help you get pregnant quicker.
