What IV sedation is used for arthroscopic knee surgery?

Depends. Usually versed and and IV pain med, but it depends upon what the ortho doc and anesthesiologist are used to.
Propofol. Diprovan or Propofol is generally used in my outpatient knee scope surgeries either w/ a spinal or lma.
Sedation. Arthroscopic knee surgery usually requires either spinal anesthetic or general anesthetic – based on the scope of surgery, surgeon and or anesthesiologists preference. Hope this helps.
