In brief: Yes

Hgh was made from pooled human donors, so there was a (tiny) risk of transmitting an infectious disease, so red cross and similar blood banks have permanently deferred such patients.

In brief: U might be OK

A web search tells me from '63-'85, 7, 000 us kids received growth hormone from pituitary glands.
About 7 died from a very rare disease (creutzfeldt-jakob). This same article tells me since '85 only recombinant drugs protropin/humatrope have been used. If you are 19 ; only treated in the usa, your version of gh should be safe. Check with blood bank director not workers at the donation site.
