In brief: Too much DHT

The enzyme is 5-alpha reductase that converts "t" to dht.
It should be well regulated by the body. Some will genetically have more active enzyme systems. Exogenous testosterone, especially topical, can cause a Dht imbalance because their is more 5 Alpha Redux taste in the skin. Dht is referred to as bad testo. Symptoms of too much Dht include prostate enlargement and male pattern baldness.
