My nine month old son hasn't had much of an appetite and is spitting up more than normal. No fever and not acting sick, only slightly irritable.?

In brief: Cranky 9 month old

Could your infant have new teeth coming in? That can make little ones irritable.
Also this is an age when many things are changing including length of naps, introduction of new foods, baby exploring his world by climbing, walking and putting everything in his mouth. Check in with your son's hcp if he is also having increased coughing/gagging, diarrhea > 5 stools a day, increased feeding problems.

In brief: Depends

The irritability is the important issue.
This depends on how you are feeding him. You should seek the view of his pediatrician.
