How long does it take to do a wriist fusion surgery?

Varies. There are a many different types of wrist fusion surgeries as the forearm wrist and hand have many bones that could be fused. In my experience, both in private and academic practice, wrist fusions typically take from about 90 minutes up to four hours in most cases. This is the surgical time. There will be additional time to provide and emerge from anesthesia as well as initial recovery afterward.
