Does non contrast abdomen pelvis CT show any problems with pancreas? Drank contrast but didn't have IV in arm?

Full study. For pancreatic cancer a full study is needed. Contrast in the bowel will allow the radiologist to evaluate. A thorough history by your doctor first to ask smoking history and risks is the first step. Intravenous contrast will peruse through the vascular beds. Operative planning for a pancreatic mass would include absence of mesenteric vascular involvement. Hope this helps.
It can. A noncontrast ct of the abdomen can show if the pancreas is inflamed with enlargement and strandy fluid around the pancreas. Pancreatic cysts and duct enlargement are often identified too. Cancers of the pancreas that don't enlarge the pancreas significantly will often not be seen.
