36 weeks pregnant with carpel tunnel syndrome, will this effect my baby? And what are some ways to help relieve numbness and pain?

In brief: Kenalog (triamcinolone) inj / splint

The treatment will not affect your baby.
At 36 weeks pregnancy, you only have another 4 weeks to go ; the carpal tunnel symptoms can be best addressed conservatively by using splints and/or kenalog (triamcinolone) injection. After delivery, the symptoms will usually resolve as the excess water weight decreases.Only a small precentage of women need to have their pregnancy induced carpal tunnel addressed surgically.
