Yes. I find the use of flu vaccine a reasonable and proper use of modern medical care. Vaccination has been found helpful starting at age 6 months although 2 doses a month apart the first year are needed in most cases. Although many people can have flu and survive with temporary and minor issues, some do not. Two fatalities in the past two weeks have been reported in my region, and one was 2 weeks old. Read more...

It is very important for babies over the age of 6 months to get flu shot.It is given in half the dose and repeated with other half of the dose after i month.The shot does not contain thiomersal(mercury)and is safe. Uncommon. Since flu vaccines (aside from the nasal spray form) consist of killed virus , they shouldn't make you ill. There are rare cases of neurologic complication from flu vaccine reported. There is an intradermal form of flu vaccine which you may be able to tolerate. My hole house is sick. Kids had flu shot and not as bad or no high fever. Me and hubby have horrible cough and high fevers 102 can it be flu?
