In brief: Razor Bumps
Razor bumps on the chin can be caused by an old or dull razor as well as ingrown hair follicles.
In general, your razor should be cleaned after each use and, if dispoable, should be regularly replaced. If you shave too frequently or too close to the skin, that can irritate the skin. A good astringent after shaving and a good facial wash may help. Ocassionally Hydrocortisone cream may be necessary.
