How will hyperthyroid affect pregnancy?

Treatment is with a drug to lower the thyroid production. Risk of hyperthyroidism in pregnancy: hypertension with protein in urine (increase risk of pre-eclampsia), infection, iron def anemia. Baby might have hyperthyroidism as well.
